On the article Hann Says He’s Not a Bigot Because of Gay Marriage Opposition

ReplyKen. I am NOT a bigot. Why do liberals always take the low road? I really don't care if two same sex people want to live together. In fact. I don't care if 100 same sex couples want to live together and share a different sex partner every 99 days. I DON'T care. I stand by my comments and opinions.
ps I still live in The United States of America. -

ReplyYa know. This is still The United States of America. We are allowed to have differing opinions. While I don't agree with this legislation, I am willing to accept it as state law and move on. I am sure Senator Hann would agree. How will it affect me in a negative way? I will now be paying more. Same sex couples and their "children" are going to be loading up on social services and welfare at my expense. I estimate this change in state law will cost me an additional $750 per year.

ReplyEven though I don't support this I do have a question.
Can a father now marry his daughter? Can a brother marry another brother? Can a mother now marry her son? No one has addressed these questions.
Please respond if you know the answer. -

ReplyA minority has passed a bad law for a minority. A majority no longer matters. Lessons learned from the Nazis.

ReplyOh Great! Another re-tread coming back to Minnetonka to "strap on the financial feedbag." Geez! Can't we get a little new blood in this school system that is still stuck in the "good 'ol boys" quagmire? I have two questions for the "new" Principal.
1. What is your salary and benefits package?
2. What lake is your summer house on? -

ReplyYes, I do remember that. Trying to "do away" with the female form was a stupid idea. Reminds me of the Catholic school that I attended. Way back in 1971 all of the Senior girls showed up at school with really short skirts with black nylons under them. This did not sit well with the Franciscan nuns. All of the girls were sent home to change. Not one male in the school approved.

AMEN Dianne! What we have here is a couple of "slick out-of-towners" who are looking for a huge payday at the expense of upstanding citizens who have been paying taxes for for decades. Put up a huge, ugly building with an acre of asphalt parking lot or maybe even a three story parking ramp. Take the money and do it again at another location. 21st century carpetbaggers. Stop this insanity now.

Good luck with that one Mike B. There is speculation that both Sotomayor and Kagan are "batting for the other team." And that is perfectly fine under the current law. Reasonable Americans will side with the man and woman wisdom. Without reasonable Americans we would allow abortion up to and including the ninth month.

You are "right as rain" Big Tex. It really is about extracting as much money from this ungodly project and send said money to The Cayman Islands. A common ploy is to build a huge complex for $17 million then sell the complex to a huge insurance company such as Prudential for $30 million. Prudential then depreciates the building to offset corporate taxes. It's a great scam.
