A simplistic response to this comment would then be;

ReplyMany cyclists ride as if they believe they have priority over all traffic.
Riders around lake Minnetonka on Co rds 19 and 15 frequently ride 2 abreast,causing unsafe conditions. Many insist on riding on CO rd 15 when the Dakota Trail covers the same stretch of road and is much safer. Downtown riders bob and weave, changing lanes and driving between lanes in slowly moving traffic. I have had several close calls with people riding between lanes in my right side morror blind spot. Please obey traffic laws and realize cars have a right to the road as well. -

I have two children and my wife is a teacher, and I believe all day kindergarden is a good idea HOWEVER.... the reason we are in the fix we are now in is because everybody wants the government to pay for every good idea.. Find something else to cut from the budget to get the money and I will support it.. I Don't care where the cuts come from...Let's live with a Budget.

ReplyWhy is this an issue? you need I.D for Health Care, welfare, income tax..etc.. THe only people that will be affected are the 22 Million people in this country that are not citizens..
There are many organizations that believe these people have a right to vote..they do not.. -

I have several co-workers in Canada, one had to bring his wife to the USA for knee cartlidge surgery, as it would be 3 years before the "free" Canadian care would be able to perform the surgery... Another co workers father was "not eligible" for Bone marrow transplant for leukemia because of his age.. He could of had it done in the US .

ReplyHmm.. How can Al make jokes about Zebra Mussels, and still pretend that he cares about the issue... seems that he only cares about getting more funding, so he can re-direct it to support his agenda..
I wish he would acknowledge that he went to a Private School ( Blake.. I remember him..) , rather than going on, and on, and on about his great public school education.. -

ReplySeems like the people who are opposed to a requirement to produce a legal I.D. to vote, are the very same people who are upset about "uninformed" voters ( i.e. someone who votes for conservatives)

Lose, Lose Situation:...
If the "harlem shake" was performed W/O school interference.... and a table had collapsed, crushing a students legs... We all know that the editorials would be ripping on the Admin.. and...a big lawsuit would follow as well.. We need to make a clear decision if we want a "Nanny State" where laws govern all behavior.. or if we want aGovernment that holds individuals personally responsible for the consiquences of their behavior
