City's Best DJ Coming to Kingfield Church For Fundraising Dance Friday
Drop your Friday night plans—DJ Jake Rudh is helping raise money for the Aliveness Project.
Southwest Minneapolis music fans: drop whatever you have planned for Friday night. From 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., you should head down to Kingfield church Solomon's Porch, to hear DJ Jake Rudh, of "Transmission" dance night fame, spin at SoAlive, a dance party and fundraiser for HIV/AIDS community center The Aliveness Project. Rudh, who also hosts a Thursday night show on 89.3 The Current, has been a long-time fixture in the Minneapolis music scene. Last year alone, he won: Organizers expect up to 500 people will show up, so get your tickets early.
