Southwest Minneapolis' Cub Foods is among the many national retailers left scrambling to pull products off its shelves after Nestle announced that a batch of its chocolate milk mix products could be contaminated by Salmonella bacteria. 40.7-ounce, 21.8-ounce, and 10.9-ounce containers of NESQUIK Chocolate Powder are all the subject of a voluntary recall by the food conglomerate. According to a statement published on the Food and Drug Administration website, one of Nestle's suppliers revealed that supplies of calcium carbonate used in the drink mix could be contaminated with the bacteria.
