This bookstore/rescued animal menagerie is filled loads of children's books and one engaging detail after another: A child-sized door placed inside their regular front door; cats sunning themselves in the front window; an upside down canoe floating through a ceiling made to look like a lake; chickens walking around freely; a garden shed full of scary books with pet rats on display underneath it; more cages toward the back holding birds, chinchillas and ferrets plus a fish tank in the bathroom. You will likely have to go back more than once to take it all in.
