Lyndale Farmstead Park
612-370-4948
This vast park in the East Harriet neigborhood was once part of a 1,000 acre farm that surrounded much of Lake Harriet, according to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's historical account of public land by David C. Smith. The park provides space for a variety of sports, including soccer, track and tennis. It also includes a community center that hosts events and classes. During the winter, the park hosts an ice rink that draws skaters from around Southwest Minneapolis.
