Blockbuster Video (Closed)
612-922-1995
Blockbuster is one of the few video giants that has been able to hold out against the onslaught of competitors like Redbox and Netflix, and they have several Twin Cities locations for customers to choose from. The 50th Street branch has DVD and video game rentals, as well as a selection of both new and used movies for sale. There is also a well-stocked selection of Junior Mints, popcorn, and all sorts of sugary snacks, but to resist the temptation you can now download movies directly from their website.

It's tough to rate this business because it's closed. The store is empty and the aforementioned Junior Mints, popcorn and all sorts of sugary snacks are probably rather stale. It's becomes difficult to put much credence in anything Patch posts when they post something about a closed storefront.
