Tylenol is not only harmful for dogs, but cats as well!

Most people know Tylenol can be bad for dogs causing liver damage. Not only is it bad for dogs, but cats as well! Read on to find the dangers of administering Tylenol to either of your furry friends.

There has been a lot of talk lately in the media about how harmful acetaminophen (Tylenol and the generic form) can be to humans. It is also useful to know that it is extremely toxic in cats. Any amount of Tylenol is considered toxic if ingested by a cat. If the ingestion just occurred, waste no time in getting your kitty to the nearest veterinary facility, where attemps will be made to evacuate the stomach and get this poison out. Treatment is intensive and it is geared towards halting and reversing the severe liver destruction that this chemical will cause.
