It isn't something you may typically think of when adopting a new dog or cat, but brushing their teeth is an important task! Read on to find out why.
Clean teeth! Clean teeth! Luigi is a four-year-old Yorkshire Terrier that was examined today (the name is changed for privacy reasons). Yorkies are notorious for having significant dental disease that usually has established itself by four years of age if not earlier. Luigi’s teeth looked great! When I mentioned that to the owner – she said that she brushes every day! What a testimony to good oral home care!
