Does your kitty leave you unwrapped presents outside of the litterbox? Don't despair, you're not alone.

Does your kitty leave you unwrapped presents outside of the litterbox? Don't despair, you're not alone. With step by step investigation, your veterinary team at Westgate Pet Clinic will help you find the why's and the how's to solve this frustrating problem. There is a very significant difference between urination and defecation outside of the litterbox, and the testing and therapy involved are aimed at specific concerns. For inappropriate urination, common causes are urinary tract infections, crystals in the urine, diabetes, stress, and many other, sometimes not well understood, reasons. Rule #1: you should have at least as many daily scooped litterboxes as the number of cats, plus 1.
