Music Festival Comes to Linden Hills Sunday

"Augtoberfest," organized by the owners of Tilia, will feature a slew of local bands.

This Sunday, 43rd and Upton will erupt in joyous noise as nine local bands and hundreds of food and beer enthusiasts—not to mention Linden Hills residents—gather for the Augtoberfest block party.

The event, organized by Linden Hills restaurant Tilia, is in its third year of giving locals a taste of the great Bavarian Octoberfest tradition one month early. A whole slew of local businesses have signed on to sponsor this year's shindig, along with The Current.

It's not all rock and roll and beer, either—the Wild Rumpus children's bookstore is organizing a lemonade stand for young'uns.

For more info, plus the full gig list, check out Tilia's post on the Patch event calendar.
