"The Bandits of Lynnhurst" Raid 50th and Bryant

Find yourself in these pictures from our 'photo booth' at Saturday's block party.

Visitors to at 50th and Bryant got to enjoy a bit of dress-up at Patch's "photo booth" (more like a table with some fun costumes on it) while waiting for their table at George and the Dragon or just cruising the corner.

The party was organized by Lynnhurst businesses to celebrate the arrival in the neighborhood of , , , and the . Speaking of Patina, check out the facepaint and balloons some of our visitors—Patina provided the killer artists behind those.

How did they promote this event? I never heard a thing about it

I heard about it from Dick Henke (The Malt Shop owner), but I saw several businesses on the corner were plugging it on Facebook. Also, I did a story on it last week. Too bad you missed it!

Went at 4:00 since it was scheduled to last until 5. There appeared to be nothing going on so we left. Disappointing.

Too bad! It was quite fun earlier in the day. We hung around until 4:30, and by then everything had petered out—probably because a lot of folks who came also came for lunch. Here's to hoping next year they're able to close off part of the road and have a band!
