Dunk the Patch Editor!

Dole out some fastballs at Sunday's 46th and Grand Block Party!

Along with the fabulous Latin food, the art, and music at Sunday's 46th and Grand Block Party, there will also be a dunk tank. And if you come around 4:30 or 5 p.m., you'll get a chance to try to get your Patch editor all wet.

I can tell a lot of you are grinning from ear to ear as you read this.

Even if you don't have it in for me, come on down! The event is not only celebrating community, but also to raise money for a new playground at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park. According to Colorwheel Gallery's Tammy Ortegon, :

 will be exhibiting “Inspired by the Twin Cities” Artists, Tammy Ortegon, Todd Miller, Giesla Hoelscher, Taylor Lindgren, Westy Copeland, Laura Eng, & Eddie Ortegon. They will be featuring photography, paintings, jewelry, art prints, cards & more inspired by living in the Twin Cities.

Tayor Lindgren will be demonstrating live aerosol & stencil painting outside the gallery that day.

 will be will be doing Latin Style Street Food. Elotes; Mexican-style corn on the cob, tostadas, empanadas, mangos on a stick, churros, aguas frescas; cantaloupe, watermelon & pineapple & more.

 will be serving up burgers & hot dogs grilled on the patio along with root beer and locally brewed fusion beers on tap. They are also hosting a Music stage featuring Twin Town Guitars Showcase, the Bunny Clogs, Megonia, Brianna Lane, and more throughout the day.

 will have their ice cream truck out with homemade ice cream & other yummy treats.
