The Minneapolis Southwest softball team lost its first game of the season on Tuesday night, 2-0, against Edina at Fort Snelling's Nieman Sports Complex.
After starting the spring with 11-straight victories, the Lakers managed just one hit—a fifth-inning double from Megan Leverenz—in the loss. Kieski also walked once, with Rachel Polland walking twice.
Southwest pitcher Melissa Mosher earned the hard-luck loss despite giving up just one earned run on the night.
