Lakers' Rosenbloom Wraps Final Season At State Gymnastics Meet

Minneapolis Southwest senior competes on balance beam, uneven bars at Class AA championships on Saturday night.

Minneapolis Southwest senior Maya Rosenbloom concluded her high school gymanstics career after competing in a pair of events at the state Class AA gymnastics individual championship meet on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Sports Pavilion.

Rosenbloom finished 30th on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 8.1 and took 31st on balance beam after posting an 8.275.

The Lakers captain had qualified for state with her performances on the Section 6AA championships on Feb. 16.
