Got Something to Say About the City's Skate Parks? Tell the Park Board

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is asking for citizens to fill out a survey before June 26.

Editor's Note: The following is a press release from the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is currently developing a plan to support skate parks and related activities citywide. Related activities could include BMX biking, in-line skating, rollerblading, scooter use, and parkour, among others. The MPRB has launched a survey to learn more about community needs and preferences. The survey will remain open through June 26, 2013.

We encourage both skaters and non-skaters to share your opinions with us by taking the skate park survey at www.surveymonkey.com/s/skateparks, or ask for a paper survey by calling 612-230-6469.
