Washburn Up Against Holy Family In Football Playoffs
Top seed Holy Family Catholic will play Washburn High School Friday in the Section 2AAA finals.

Antonio Ayala (Washburn - Quarterback)
The junior signal caller completed ten of 20 passes for 171 yards and three scores against Belle Plaine last Saturday. He completed 14 of 24 passes for 203 yards and a touchdown in their first round playoff win. He has thrown for 1,301 yards and 15 scores this season.
Jeff Jones (Washburn – Running Back)
The sophomore rushed a rushed a season-high 26 times for 213 yards and four touchdowns in their win over Bell Plaine Saturday. He had two touchdowns in 21-12 first round playoff win over Richfield as he rushed 19 times for 158 yards. He has gained 1,257 yards and has 24 rushing touchdowns this season.

Michael Roane (Holy Family Catholic – Quarterback)
The senior signal caller is a dual threat. He has completed 72 of 138 passes for 1134 yards and 12 touchdowns. He has rushed 174 times for 1222 yards and ten scores.
Tanner Steen (Holy Family Catholic – Running Back/Defensive Back)
The senior has ten touchdowns as a rusher and receiver and leads the Fire with 95 tackles.
MILLERS WIN IF...
They can continue to a balanced attack with Ayala, who passed for over 100 yards seven times this season and open up holes for Jones, who is one of the top state’s sophomores. Washburn lost to Waseca 59-28 earlier this season, a team that Holy Family beat twice this year.
FIRE WIN IF...
They can continue their strong postseason rushing attack. They have gained 656 yards on the ground and scored seven touchdowns.
