Can'n and Jam'n Camp celebrates the harvest at J.D. Rivers Children's Garden in Wirth Park. Youth work in the garden, harvest and also eat the fruits (and vegetables and herbs) of their labor. The camp meets at the JD Rivers Children's Garden and ends at the Pavilion.
Participants harvest veggies from the garden and learn about good harvest practices and the value of good food for our bodies. Children will most likely make pickles, salsa, jam, salads, garden crafts and more (weather and harvest depending!) A daily snack is included in the camp, but not lunch. Ages 7-12.

Each afternoon participants will explore the park, hike the trails, canoe on the lake, learn how to build shelters and discover the fine art of outdoor survival. They’ll start with some structured activities and transition into their choice of many activities. A snack will be provided. $35/person. Minimum 10 participants. Looking for a full day experience? This camp is offered immediately following Can'n and Jam'n Camps. Supervision will be provided over lunch. Camper must bring their own lunches.
