Meet Southwest High School's Patron Saint

You might call Harry Feldman a patron saint of Southwest High School.

This week, the Southwest Journal profiled Feldman and his efforts to help the school and its students.

A member of the class of 1961 and a former starting lineman for the school's Lakers football team, he gave $300,000 to the effort to build lights for Southwest's athletic fields. He handed out $2,500 scholarships to four student athletes from the class of 2013 who had improved the most over their time at Southwest. On June 27, he helped break ground for the school's new lights.

Feldman was moved to get active in the school again when his "beloved" high school coach died last year.
