PHOTOS: Windom Students Perform At TwinsFest

The Spanish immersion school's children performed a selection of Mexican folk dances.

Saturday morning, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was filled with the sounds of scores of excited baseball fans attending TwinsFest, an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. Among the many attractions were two bands of students from the and the Windom Enrichment Resource Center, performing traditional dances from Jalisco, Mexico, and announced by none other than Alfonso Fernández, the Minnesota Twins' Spanish-language play-by-play announcer.
