The Wisest of Investments: a presentation by Art Rolnick

Linden Hills UCC hosts Art Rolnick, former senior vice president at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Mr. Rolnick will speak about why it is in everybody's interest to invest in high quality early education for all of Minnesota's children.  Through painstaking economic research, Mr. Rolnick has demonstrated that quality early education for disadvantaged children could result in a 16-percent annual rate of return on initial investments.  Rolnick believes that these significant returns should appeal not only to citizens who are concerned specifically about educational opportunity for all, but also to the business community and fiscally-minded legislators.
