Free movie about climate change at S'dale Library

On Thursday, April 7, the National Geographic film “Six Degrees Could Change the World” will be shown at Southdale Library, 7001 York Ave. S. in Edina.  The film showing will start at 7 pm and admission is free.  The  film features narration by Alec Baldwin and information from NASA climatologist James Hansen among others.    ‘Six Degrees’ presents the devastating impacts that each degree of increase in temperature will have on people’s lives over the course of this century.  This is the first in a series of films about climate change that will be shown at Southdale Library on the first Thursday evening each month from April thru June.   On Thursday, May 5, the movie will be "Everything's Cool" and on Thursday, June 2, the movie will be "A Sea Change".
