(VIDEO) Dolan Comes Out Against 'Shoot First' Law

The House bill is authored by Rep. Tony Cornish, (R-Good Thunder), who is also the town's police chief.

Minneapolis Police Chief Tim Dolan joined the current and former St. Paul police chiefs Thursday in condemning a bill that would allow homeowners to kill in self-defense when there's a reasonable fear of injury or a felony.

Nicknamed the "shoot first" bill, it's currently making its way through both the state House and Senate, although it appears Gov. Mark Dayton will likely veto it if it passes the legislature.
