Due to yet another spring snow storm, the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board has postponed its annual Minneapolis Earth Day Clean-Up event, which was scheduled for Saturday, April 20.

However, the Recycle Run on Sunday will take place in rain, shine or snow. According to the MPRB:

The event takes place around beautiful Lake Harriet in south Minneapolis. The 5K Run begins at 9am and is a chip-timed event. Participants are encouraged to bring their used running shoes and shirts. Items will be collected and recycled. More information can be found at www.minneapolisrecyclerun.com.

Individual park cleanups will take place throughout the coming weeks. Information regarding the makeup events can be found on the MPRB website at minneapolisearthday.com.
