Airport Holds Quarterly Public Meeting Tuesday

For those who are bothered by constant airplane noise, the Metropolitan Airports Commission's quarterly noise meeting is scheduled for Tuesday.

Editor's note: This version corrects the day of the meeting, which is Tuesday, not Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) is hosting its quarterly meeting for residents to voice their concerns or complaints about airport noise pollution Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Airport noise has been an issue for surrounding communites since the airport was built in the early 60's. In order to be responsive to residents' concerns, MAC holds its quarterly meetings as an effort to mitigate concerns and stay compliant with federal policies, according to the commission's website.
