Police Seek Help In Tangletown Armed Robbery

Last month, two robbers struck CK Food & Fuel at 48th and Nicollet.

Police are seeking help identifying suspects in last month's armed robbery at on the corner of 48th and Nicollet.

On Wednesday night on Oct. 26, two men entered the store—adjacent to . One of the men showed the clerk a black handgun and forced the clerk to lie in on floor, while the other man took money and cigarettes from the store. The suspects then fled on foot.

Police say the first suspect is a black male 30 to 35 years old with a “pudgy” or heavier build and about five feet, eight inches tall. He was wearing a knit cap, black sunglasses, a dark heavier coat with a lighter collared collar, a white and green checked shirt and blue jeans.

Police say the second suspect was of a similar age and height, and wearing a similar hat and sunglasses, but with a lighter build. He was said to be wearing a dark coat and he carried a dark colored backpack or gym bag. 

Residents are asked to call Officer Kurt Radke of the Minneapolis Police Department Robbery Unit at 612-673-3640 if they can identify the suspects or offer further information.
