Friday morning, the Minneapolis Police Department announced they need residents' help in a theft near Southwest Minneapolis. Between 10 p.m. on Jan. 17th and 11 a.m. on Jan. 18th, someone broke into a car on the 5000 block of Luverne Avenue in the Page neighborhood. $37,000 in biomedical testing, calibration equipment and tools were taken.
No photos of the suspect are available, and police are asking for help recovering the equipment. Pictures of the missing equipment are at right. Police are asking tipsters who might have information about the theif or the location of the items to call Sergeant Patricia Annoni at 612-673-5356.
