Amid an uptick in car thefts around Minneapolis (visible in this week's crime maps), the Minneapolis Police Department is hosting free workships.

According to an announcement posted on the department's Facebook page:

You don’t have to be a victim of auto theft. You can protect yourself and your vehicle!

MPD Crime Prevention Specialists will show you what you need to know to reduce your chance of being the victim of Auto Theft.
