Drunken Man Steals Pizza From Pizza Lucé

July 10

A drunken St. Cloud resident who said he was in town visiting friends was cited for taking a pizza from the Lyndale Avenue Pizza Lucé restaurant.

Officers canvassed houses on the 4800 block of Colfax Avenue South after a Minnetonka resident said her stolen phone’s GPS indicated it was in the area.

July 9

Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of Thomas Avenue South around 4 a.m. on a report of a burglary in progress. Police couldn’t find a suspect, but found that a door to the house had been opened and “burglary tools” were abandoned next to the house in question.

A garage on the 3300 block of Calhoun Parkway was burgled overnight.

A car was stolen overnight from the 3300 block of Grand Avenue.

A customer at the Milio’s sandwich shop at the corner of 44th Street and France Avenue South reported his wallet was stolen while he paid for his food.

A car was broken into overnight from the 3700 block of Pleasant Avenue South. Losses were minimal, as the car had been broken into one month ago.

 

July 7

A bike was taken from a home on the 3700 block of Lyndale Avenue South between 8 a.m. on July 4th and 11:30 p.m. on July 6th.

Police were called to the 5900 block of Sunrise Drive to remove an intoxicated trespasser.

A Shoreview resident fell asleep at a friend’s residence without locking his truck and removing the keys from the ignition. The car was stolen overnight.

A St. Paul resident’s bicycle was taken from the 700 block of 31st Street West around 3:30 p.m.

A car was broken into on the 4200 block of Queen Avenue South between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

A Bloomington resident’s purse was stolen around 6 p.m. after she left it in a stroller while she walked down to the water.

 

June 6

Officers arrested a Phillips man for attempting to burgle a house on the 3300 block of Nicollet Avenue South after responding to a report of a burglary in progress.

An iPhone left in a locker at the Blaisdell YMCA was taken while its owner was using the gym.

 

June 4

A Lynnhurst resident’s cellphone was stolen by a person to whom they had given a ride, after meeting them for the first time that morning.

A large, heavy, vintage concrete bird bath was taken from the front yard of a home on the 100 block of 38th Street West.

A theft on the 3200 block of Calhoun Parkway was reported to police around 4 p.m.

A car parked in the driveway of a home on the 200 block of 46th Street West was broken into between 10 p.m. on July 1 and 6 a.m. on July 3, after it was accidentally left unlocked.

 

July 3

The BP gas station on the corner of 36th Street West and Lyndale Avenue South was robbed at gunpoint. The case has been closed pending further leads.

A car parked in a driveway on the 4600 block of Pleasant Avenue South was stolen. The car was locked and the victim was in possession of the keys.

A house was broken into on the 3200 block of Elliot Avenue South between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.

A resident of the 4800 block of Upton Avenue South reported an umbrella missing from her back deck.

A car was broken into and “ransacked” on the 4200 block of Pillsbury Avenue South between midnight and 6 a.m.

A second car was broken into on the 4200 block of Pillsbury Avenue South between midnight and 6 a.m.
