Bus Stop Robbery Suspect Arrested

Man is suspected in Kingfield, St. Louis Park robberies.

The following is an announcement from the Minneapolis Police Department. Osborne is also the suspect in a pair of St. Louis Park robberies in February: 

On March 1, 2013, Louis Larell Osborne 11/18/92 was arrested for a robbery that occurred on the 600 block of 8th St SE in Minneapolis on February 28, 2013. A male victim was waiting for a bus when he was approached by the suspect, demanded his belongings and brandished a gun. The loss included the victim’s wallet, cell phone and backpack which contained a laptop. Through cooperation with other agencies and thorough investigation, Osborne was charged with the robbery.

Osborne is a suspect in three robberies in the Fifth Precinct (2 at 46th St W/Bryant Av S and 53rdSt W/Xerxes Av S). He is also a suspect in other robberies around the metro.

The MPD would not release any other information at this time.

Armed robbery. Depending on his criminal history, this fellow just might get quite a few months of rigorous community service!

Sorry to say that you didn't have good information before moving to Minneapolis. Minneapolis isRead More plagued by crime, caused by the liberal mentality that prevents police from doing their jobs. Minneapolis and Hennepin County needs a strong sheriff, such as Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Arizona, to clean house and really crack down on the criminals that have destroyed vast swaths of Minneapolis.
