Andover Man Identified as Shooting Victim

Luis Alejandro Torres-Sanchez was shot Monday morning at La Que Buena Restaurant.

The Hennepin County medical examiner has identified a 32-year-old Andover man as the person who died in Monday’s shooting at La Que Buena Restaurant on East Lake Street.

Luis Alejandro Torres-Sanchez died at the restaurant at 1:37 a.m. of multiple gun shot wounds, according to the examiner.

Minneapolis police continue to investigate the case. The shooting happened when someone walked up outside and started shooting through the front window. Four people were hit. Torres-Sanchez was the only one who died.

The Star Tribune reports that police are investigating the possibility that the shooting was related to gang activity.
