12-Year-Old Girl Hit by Car in Nicollet Avenue Parking Lot
The girl did not suffer any major injuries.
A 12-year-old girl was pushing groceries in a cart across a parking lot on the 5900 block of Nicollet Avenue when a man backed his car up and accidentally hit her.
The girl tried to talk to the man, but he drove away. It was unclear whether he noticed he had hit someone.
The girl had a small amount of bruising on her right hip. Her mother was inside the store at the time of the injury.
Police are investigating the incident as a hit and run.
