Retired Minneapolis Police Officer Passes Away at 72

Services for Ronald Findorff will be held Friday and Saturday in Plymouth.

Ronald Findorff passed away at the age of 72 on Sept. 11. 2013.

Findorff retired from the Minneapolis Police Department on Aug. 10, 1990 after 23 years of service.

He is survived by loving wife of 47 years, Barbara; son, Jeffrey; daughter, Tracy (Boyd) Kivley; grandchildren, Hunter, Parker and Nathan; sister, Marilyn Long; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and preceded in death by parents, Larry and Agnes.

A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, with a visitation one hour prior. Both will be held at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. His interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Minnesota Children’s Home Society.
