One Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Event Left In Minneapolis
Cleaning out your basement? Some of that stuff, you probably can't recycle.
Got some to get rid of? The City of Minneapolis has one last hazardous household waste pickup day left this summer.
It's a bit of a schlep, but you can head on over to the Pillsbury School at 2231 Garfield St. NE on Aug. 16, 17 or 18, between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. if you want a convenient way to get rid of everything from old paint cans to pesticides, and other things that can't go in the trash or the recycling bin. As you probably know, most of these items' toxic contents could potentially leach out into groundwater and the environment if tossed in the trash.
