Cans for a Cause

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, 1300 Nicollet Mall, is helping feed the hungry through “Cans for a Cause” this month.  From now through December 30, guests may bring in canned, non-perishable food items to receive 5% off of their stay per can (up to 25% off).  The canned goods will be donated to a local Minneapolis charity, Second Harvest, to provide meals to the needy this winter season.

Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, one of the largest properties in the Twin Cities, recently announced a $25 million renovation of the hotel's guestrooms, suites, public areas, and restaurants.  The renovation begins this month with expected completion in Spring 2012.

"This major renovation will enhance Hyatt Regency Minneapolis' stellar reputation as a premier hotel for travelers in the Twin Cities, especially given our proximity to the Minneapolis Convention Center," said Randy Thompson, general manager, Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.  "We look forward to welcoming guests back to a transformed hotel with all of the services and amenities they have come to expect from Hyatt.”
