Help raise $100,000 for Minneapolis parks with just your phone or mouse!

A universal playground planned for Minnehaha Falls Regional Park needs your help to win $100,000!

Children with disabilities face many challenges affecting their future interpersonal relationships including poor integration into their peers' play. Playgrounds are traditional sites for youth interaction, but typical playground designs often require children with disabilities to sit on the sidelines due to deficiencies in surface material, type of access and difficulty level. People for Parks is raising funds for a Universal Access Playground at Wabun Picnic area (by Minnehaha Falls) where kids with and without disabilities can play with dignity. You can help us win $100,000 toward the playground by voting in Coca-Cola’s America Is Your Park campaign. Simply choose Wabun Picnic Area as the park you'd like to vote for.

Grants will be given to the three parks that receive the most votes by the end of the competition on July 15: First place – $100,000; Second place – $50,000; and, Third place – $25,000. Also, a $15,000 grant will be awarded, at random, to a park that comes in 4th to 25th in the voting. Visit livepositively.com for ore details. You can vote as many times as you like online, and if you check in via foursquare, each check in is worth 100 votes!! Be sure to register via the link BEFORE voting on foursquare to ensure your vote counts. If you have a smartphone it's very easy to download foursquare and help with your votes. You can check in every 15 minutes! Just click here for details! For more info on the playground visit: http://www.peopleforparks.net/falls4all.html
