The Blake School Gr. 9–12 Admissions Information Meeting

The Blake School invites families to learn more about Blake — our community, our programs, and what makes us unique. On January 14, The Blake School will host Admissions information meeting for grades 9-12 students and their parents. Administrators, faculty, current parents, students and alumni will be present to discuss school life, curriculum and activities.

Blake is a co-educational, independent, Pre-K–12 school enrolling nearly 1,400 students from about 56 Twin Cities-area communities. Blake provides a rigorous academic program with exceptional opportunities for each child in academics, the arts, athletics and more. The School’s comprehensive liberal arts education curriculum allows for choices based on a student’s special interests and ability. Blake’s student-teacher ratios (9:1) and small class sizes balance academic rigor with personal attention and support for each student.  Blake welcomes students and families of diverse backgrounds, talents and experiences, believing strongly that multiple perspectives help create educational excellence.

Commitment to affordability is evidenced by Blake’s strong financial aid program: $3.9 million of need-based financial assistance awarded to nearly 20 percent of the student body.
