Celebrate the UnCorking of Beaujolais Nouveau!

Friday, November 16, 2012

6pm - 11pm

Windows on Minnesota, Marquette Hotel

50th Floor IDS CENter

Following tradition, we'll uncork the Beaujolais Nouveau from George Duboeuf and keep it flowing all evening. As a new twist, we'll expand to a wide range of wines expertly selected by our partner, The Wine Company.

Seven of the Twin Cities' top chefs will launch this year's Fête du Vin with a lavish array of appetizers. Our list of notable participating restaurants and bakeries include Vincent, a Restaurant, Meritage, Grand Cafe, Barbette, Heidi's, The Barbary Fig, Chez Arnaud, and Rustica Bakery. Most chefs will be present. Click here for more details.

Along with imaginative food and wine pairings, we've curated a uniquely Gallic Silent Auction, including destination hotel packages, restaurant gift certificates, and private reserve French wines from connoisseur Richard Korinke. Click here for the complete listing.

Dining at the Top of the IDS

Dinner will follow, as you sit down to a superb meal, accompanied by wine presented by The Wine Company, as well as a tempting dessert buffet by Chez Arnaud.

Special Guests and Live Auction

We'll welcome the Invest in France Agency as a silver sponsor, and our special guest, Consul General Graham Paul, who will update us on the relations between the United States, France and Europe.

Next -- get ready for the Live Auction, including three pairs of Delta Airline tickets and exciting hotel packages.

I had the same problem. I did see a person with an "Obama for President" bumper stickerRead More and a pro- "gay" marriage sticker drive off with some plants. Another Democrat stealing property.

Way to keep comments inline with the story. Trolls belong under bridges not on forums like this.

I am sorry to hear this happened to you. Theft from garages is kind of popular. They usually don'tRead More break in though. Glad you filed a police report and I hope you recover your property.

Sorry to say that you didn't have good information before moving to Minneapolis. Minneapolis isRead More plagued by crime, caused by the liberal mentality that prevents police from doing their jobs. Minneapolis and Hennepin County needs a strong sheriff, such as Sheriff Joe Arpaio from Arizona, to clean house and really crack down on the criminals that have destroyed vast swaths of Minneapolis.

Comments from Southwest Minneapolis Patch's Facebook page: Laura Bischoff: "This all feelsRead More pretty hate-filled to me. An unfortunate outcome." Andrea Nicole Markley: "Yes, I thought the principal had done a pretty bang-up job of re-vamping Washburn's image."
