This class is very Yin--slow, deliberate movements for the purpose of developing neuro-muscular coordination. Because pelvic floor fitness, balance and proprioception all mirror each other, we work on all of these using floor exercises, standing exercises, balance discs, resistance therapy bands and wobble boards. While some participants do get sore and you will build strength, our focus remains neuro-muscular coordination.
This class is perfect for anyone experiencing, or hoping to prevent, incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, prostatitis, low back & knee pain, sacro-iliac pain, sciatica, other pelvic imbalances, or for those recovering from head trauma or other neurological issues.
