Palmisano Wins Ward 13 Race

She finished with a final round percentage of 48.37 percent.

UnitedHealth Group product development manager Linea Palmisano has been declared the unofficial winner of the Minneapolis City Council Ward 13 race, according to results released late Friday morning.

Palmisano won 4,452 votes in the first round—leading community organizer Matt Perry by 389 votes. In the second round, Palmisano picked up 607 votes to Perry’s 642. But that was enough for the win. She finished with a final round percentage of 48.37 percent. Perry finished with 44.99 percent.

Missy Durant, Bob Reuer and David Regan did not win enough votes to make it to the final round.
