Write a Blog at Southwest Minneapolis Patch!

Got something to say? Patch.com is adding a platform for local bloggers on May 4.

Do you have a special interest in local art, music, politics, sports, schools or food? What about photography? Or bike repair?

If so, you should consider blogging at Southwest Minneapolis Patch.

While Patch will still have reporters out in the community covering everything from sports to politics, blogs are a way for you to participate more fully in the online conversation in your community.

This isn't a reporting job. It's blogging. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month. Patch won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to your other blogs. All you'll need are a passion for an issue (or issues) relevant to the community and solid writings skills.

My role as editor would be to review blog entries submitted to Southwest Minneapolis Patch to ensure there are no libelous claims (or blatantly promotional content). I'll correct obvious typos, too.
