Why We'll Be There: Talk about a study in contrasts. , unlike the other big development project in Southwest, has had fairly smooth sailing so far and received some neighborhood support. Now that the developer has filed plans with the city, residents will get a look at the final, 90-unit design during a Fulton Neighborhood Association board meeting.

What: City Council Hears Comment On Sewer, Water Rate Hikes

When: 6:05 p.m. Wed., Dec. 14, in the City Council chambers at City Hall.

Why We'll Be Paying Attention: With no property rate tax hike this year, the city's budget process has been pretty calm so far. Still, the City Council wants to hear what you think of the budget, the flat property tax rates and the hikes in water and sewer rates. Look for our story on the issue Wednesday morning.
