Prostitutes and New Restaurants: May's Most Viewed Stories

Patch readers dug up year-old prostitution case, thrilled to new restaurants.

It will come as little surprise to regular readers that  ranked high among our top stories this month. The story spawned a lively debate between readers over how safe pit bulls and other similar breeds are as pets. We followed that with  about how to prevent dog bites from ever happening in the first place.

Second-most popular, though, was a story from April 2011, when police and charged her with prostitution. According to police, she had been selling sex under the guise of running a storefront massage parlor in a space currently occupied by Contempl8 T-Shirts on Nicollet Avenue in Kingfield.

News of Lynnhurst pub also dominated readers' attention in May, including early reviews from food critics and regular restaurant-goers.

Lastly, many readers eagerly sought out news of (IB) program for the 2012-2013 school year. The school currently offers IB classes for grades 11 and 12, and will begin offering similar classes to grades nine and 10. However, the expansion will not include the addition of any new advanced courses, which parents had been clamoring for.
