Police Make Arrest in Uptown Robbery

The 29-year-old man was arrested for the beating and robbery of a man in late April.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man they said is connected to recent violent robberies in Uptown this morning.

He's being held in Hennepin County Jail on probable cause of aggravated robbery. Charges haven't yet been filed (we won't release his name until they are).

He was arrested for the April 28 robbery of a man on the 2600 block of Colfax Avenue South. The victim was chased by two men, knocked to the ground, kicked until he was unconscious and robbed.
