Drazil Foods Selected as a Finalist in the "Get in the Ring" Entrepreneur Competition Event Live Tonight at 8 pm est

Drazil Foods, based in Edina, MN, was one of two Minnesota companies selected from an initial field of 283 applicants to compete in the final round of the first-ever “Get in the Ring: The American Startup Clash” hosted by The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

Drazil Foods, along with 7 other finalists, will pitch their companies to a panel of judges in Kansas City on November 18. The US champion will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize and an all-expense paid trip to the Netherlands to compete in a global competition for a pool of angel investment money. 

The 7 other finalists include St. Teresa Medical Inc. Maple Grove, MN; EyeVerify Kansas City, KS; Mana Nutrition of Matthews, N.C.; Popvox of Redwood City, Calif.; Repp of Cincinnati, OH; Travefy of Lincoln, Neb.; and weeSpring of New York City, NY.

The “Get in the Ring” contest was founded in 2009 in the Netherlands. The Kauffman Foundation is hosting the first U.S. competition.
