POLL: Bitter Coffee—From the Right or Left?

Do a company's positions on social issues influence the business you bring?

Two groups seemingly on opposite sides of the political spectrum are urging Starbucks customers to find coffee elsewhere in light of the company's recently stated positions on same-sex marriage and guns.

USA Christian Ministries is "upset with Starbucks for turning against God" after corporate chiefs declared their recent support of same-sex marriage in the state of Washington. An unrelated boycott, by the National Gun Victims Action Council, is inspired by the company's policy of allowing customers with guns.

Patch wants to know, do either of these positions make you feel more supportive or alienated from Starbucks. Tell us in the comments below, and also take our poll to let us know whether a company's political positions affect the business you bring.
