Armatage Restaurant Turns Two—And Throws a Party

Patrons get champagne, pizza, and a cake from Patisserie 46

In just two years, Armatage's Pizzeria Lola has rocketed to the top of local foodie charts, and announced the launch of a new sibling restaurant in Linden Hills.

Now, owner/chef Anne Kim and her staff are celebrating the restaurant's birthday with a week of special events, culminating on Lola's Friday, Nov. 16 birthday.

Tuesday night, cake from Patisserie 46 and champagne are on offer. Wednesday, the restaurant is giving out swag from Surly Brewing and Lola as "birthday gifts" to patrons, and promising "a night of door prizes and general tom-foolery."

Thursday, staff are tapping a special, one-off batch of habanero-infused Lonely Blonde ale from Fulton Brewing. Finally on Friday, bring your party dress for Lola's actual birthday and a night of excellent pizza.
