Hello Pizza Offers Gourmet Fare for Families on the Go: Review

What do you do feed the kids in between soccer practice and the school play rehearsal?

Linden Hills' new eatery Hello Pizza could be the best solution yet to a classic parent's conundrum—what do you do feed the kids in between soccer practice to a tutoring session or the school play rehearsal?

According to a new review from the foodie reporters at The Heavy Table, Hello Pizza preserves all the things Southwest Minneapolis has come to love about Anne Kim's other restaurant Pizzeria Lola—namely, the delicious crust and high quality of her pizzas—while managing to "have you seated, fed, and out the door in roughly the time it often takes to get a table at Lola."

Of course, you won't walk into Hello Pizza expecting anything fancy. The joint takes its inspiration from New York's famous "slice shops," no-nonsense places to eat a delicious piece of 'za while leaning your elbows a formica-and-particleboard counter. Hello Pizza is a bit classier than that, but the straightforward service and communal seating carry over and help it plow through even the dinner crowds.
