Linden Hills Woofstock

More than 3,500 people and their dogs are expected as the Linden Hills Business Association hosts its eighth annual Woofstock day for dog lovers on Saturday, September 8, 2012.  The event will take place in the Linden Hills Business District at 43rd Street and Upton Avenue South in Minneapolis from10am to 3pm, and is free to all.

Dogs and their people can stroll the business district to take advantage of special events and discounts at neighborhood merchants.  The streets are also home to the Woofstock Love-In Exhibition, with 40+ booths full of Fido needs—from grooming, rescuing, and treats to clothing, walking, and training.  Other events include live music, a children’s jumper, book reading with therapy dogs, dog yoga, and a scavenger hunt.  The day ends with the annual dog trick contests.
