The stoles exhibit is a beautiful collection of stoles belonging to LGBT clergy and other people of faith and represents more than forty denominations and faith traditions from six countries on three continents. The collection includes stoles from clergy who made their contributions anonymously and continue to serve and others from people who had to leave their ministries.

Most of the stoles include cards telling the deeply moving stories of the people who had to leave the ministry because of opposition from their congregations or ecclesiastical hierarchy. Other stoles are simply marked Anonymous.
